About the game:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U video game consoles. The game is a part of The Legend of Zelda series, and follows amnesiac protagonist Link, who awakens from a hundred-year slumber to a mysterious voice that guides him to defeat Calamity Ganon before he can destroy the kingdom of Hyrule.

The title's gameplay and mechanics constitute a departure from the series' usual conventions, featuring an open-world environment, a detailed physics engine, high-definition visuals, and voice acting. Announced in 2013, the game was initially planned for release as a Wii U exclusive in 2015, but was delayed twice prior to its release on March 3, 2017. Breath of the Wild was a launch title for the Switch, as well as the final Nintendo-produced game for the Wii U.

Breath of the Wild received universal acclaim from critics, who deemed it to be one of the greatest video games of all time. Critics praised the game's open-ended, physics-driven gameplay that encourages player experimentation and exploration, with many calling it a landmark title in open-world game design, although minor criticism was directed at the game's technical performance at launch.

App is really good, but the loading is reallyyyyyyyy sloooow, I purchased ads thinking it would be causing the slowdown but that also didn't help, also got armor purchase but after I enabled all filters on map, the app became unusable, it just keeps crashing, how hard can it be to make a good performing app? regret buying the purchases. This would be the best app if it was fast I would happily give 6 stars. Update: had to reinstall to even get the app working and lost all tracking.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ (new) / Samsung Galaxy Tab A w/ S Pen So sometimes the checklist for the treasures half-ass resets itself, which is frustrating af cause I was over 50% done with those and when I looked today it was at 8%. It's also slow to respond to touches, and it's 10x worse on my tablet. However, it is designed so well and they did a great job with the map. I seriously love this app, I almost always have the app pulled up if I'm playing. Thanks!

I purchased the ad-free option, and it was totally worth it. Absolutely one of the few times I've made an in-app purchase and still feel really good about that decision several months down the line. This is an app that has enhanced my experience with Z-BotW that allows me to still discover all the cool things in the game. This is definitely a good app that every Zelda enthusiast should own. That said, I wish it had a couple of extra filters. First, I wish I could set it up for just a region (such as, show me ONLY things in Tabantha). I also wish I could set up the checklists in different orders (such as, order the shrines by region, then alphabetical order in that region). For the times when I am working on my armor upgrades, I would like to choose the armor and the level I am working on, and then be shown a map where the upgrade components can be found. OK, so truth be told -- I originally put a four star review in, but after typing this out I realized that this is a 5-star worthy app. There is so much in the app that makes me dream of even more possibilities in both the game and the app. Well done.
